SCOTT CONAWAY


Owner and operator, Scott Conaway, learned equipment operation at a very
young age.  He spent his adolescence working on his grandfather's farm in Adamsville, Tennessee.  His teenage years included asphalt paving with his father, Byron Conaway, of Conaway Paving in Henderson, Tennessee.  It was during these years that Scott learned the value of a hard day's work and how much a quality job matters.  When Scott graduated high school, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to work with his uncle, Jeff Conaway, of J.C. Conaway & Company, Inc.  It was here that he increased his knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment.  He also learned about utility installation, Jeff's specialty.  

After years of working for and learning from Jeff, Byron, and his grandfather, Keith, Scott decided to go into business for himself.  Coming from a family full of entrepreneurs, this decision was only a matter of when, not if.  In 2005, he founded Site Work Made Simple, Inc. in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  He worked there alongside his friend and business partner, Adam Leach.  In 2007, Scott and his wife, Cindy, moved to Spring Hill, Tennessee, and began Conaway & Company.  Since then, he has been providing excellent service and offering outstanding value to neighbors throughout Nashville and the surrounding area.
